Missing Home

A cowboy dressed in blue jeans and blue shirt rests with his hat covering his eyes. He is leaning against an old horse corral that is falling apart. He is tired and weary and it is evening.

A tired cowboy is wandering and he is lost. He’s far from home and he’s tired, so he stops at an abandoned property to rest. He finds an old, broken down horse corral and sits on one of the boards. He pulls his hat over his eyes to block out what little sun is left. I painted this while listening to the “Cowpoke” cover by Colter Wall.

This oil painting is on a 14x11x1.5 inches canvas.
